王应,博士,北京大学基础医学院免疫学系教授,博士生导师。1987年本科毕业于首都医科大学临床医学专业;1999年于北京大学基础医学院免疫学系获硕士学位;2007于北京大学基础医学院免疫学系博士学位2010年被聘任为北京大学基础医学院免疫学系教授。作为课题负责人主持和完成重大新药创制国家科技重大专项1项、国家自然科学基金重大研究计划和面上项目9项、北京市自然科学基金面上项目3项和教育部高等学校博士学科点专项科研基金1项。作为骨干参加国家重点基础研究发展计划(973计划) 1项。自2010年开始通过建立细胞趋化筛选平台,原创发现多个尚无功能报道的具有趋化活性的细胞因子。目前已成功注释了其中PSMP-CCR2FAM3D-FPR1FPR2FAM19A5-S1PR2FAM19A1-GPR1四种新细胞因子及其相互作用受体,探索并揭示其在生理病理过程中的作用及机制。成功原创性地构建了多株具有中和活性的新趋化细胞因子单克隆抗体,为其体内外功能机制研究和创新抗体药物研发奠定了重要基础。有关研究成果作为第一或通讯作者已发表于Circulation, Journal of Hepatology, Nature Communications, Molecular Psychiatry, The Journal of Immunology, The FASEB Journal,Journal of Cell Science等杂志。申请发明专利并获授权多项。与企业合作开发1项。

近年主要研究方向:

以人类蛋白编码基因数据库为背景,从事人类新趋化细胞因子及其受体的发现、鉴定、功能和作用机制的研究;新趋化细胞因子相关的创新药物靶点发现和自主创新药物的研究和开发。
